Unlikely: Symptoms of sciatica including pain, numbness or weakness radiating from the buttock down to the foot or ankle is unlikely to be caused by NuvaRing . Your pcp can examine you carefully and determine if it is indeed scistica and needs further work up.

Neither: At age 23, neither  is likely.  Sciatica is due to compression of nerve in low back, usually causes pain down the leg. It's rare at your age. Injury to coccyx can cause your symptom, as can muscle and joint injury there. For previously undiagnosed cancer to present in this fashion in a young man would likewise be VERY rare.

Cancer pain: Treatment in this context is much more difficult than usual sciatica. The best option is to consult with a pain medicine specialist who can guide you through the options of cortisone injections, nerve blocks, radiation, acupuncture, biofeedback, meditation, or long-acting narcotic medications.

help plz. i have over 1,5month upper left buttock pain constant. when i took antifl is better but when i stop therapy again same pain there. went to orthop doc did xray said that i have disc problem like sciatica. but i worry. can it be cancer?

: Unless you have CT scan/ MRI, the diagnosis of herniated disc with sciatica can only be suspected by examination. A plain X ray of the spine cannot detect herniated disc. Your problem could be due to radiculopathy or sacroiliitis, improved with anti-inflammatory drug, very less likely due to a malignant disease. Family doctor should order some basic blood tests for r/o common rheumatic disorders.

Disc change vs. MM: Bulging or protruding discs are often seen on spine imaging.  Sometimes seen without severe back symptoms. Without signs of severe disc damage (herniation) or nerve damage, it is usually managed conservatively &amp; without surgery.  Doesn't cause MM
Multiple Myeloma-different. Cancer abnl prod. of blood cells (plasma cells), affects bone and organs - Cont with routine physicals, screening labs CBC

No: No, it would not be normal to have pain 10 months after a bone biopsy from the procedure itself.  So possibilities include: the area that was biopsied is abnormal and causing pain, for example if the biopsy was done on a lesion that is still there; or you had a complication, or there is something else causing the pain (like when the doctor suggested it may be coming from a nerve in the back).
