YEs: Depends on how much. A drink unlikely, but excessive can in multiple way": falling or ballance problems., inflammatory effect of alcohol and dehydration.

colonoscopy showed nothing. i get lower r ab pain simultaneous /w carpal tunnel, sciatica, skin and mostly digestive issues, but don't know how they're related. alcohol / certain foods make it worse?

Unrelated: I cannot think of a connection between those issues age? Detail of symptoms, other diagnoses, obesity?  Without proper history it is not easy to come up with a diagnosis.

Meds?: The abnormal enzymes are not a good sign.  It might be from tumor in the liver or more likely, medication (cytoxan or neurontin) side effects.  She needs to get  off those rightr away and see her doctor soon.   It can also (rarely) be a late side effect from general anesthesia  (a few weeks or months).  Gall bladder problems can also cause this.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the level is not too high. Do not take acetaminophen. You may repeat the test in 3-6 months as it may be a transient issue.

NAC: During a hangover, the body is fighting to regain equilibrium in several ways. Alcohol depletes the body's water, electrolytes and vitamins, so part of the hangover is dehydration, electrolyte imbalance and vitamin deficiency. Drinking water and electrolyte solutions along With Vitamin B supplements can help. Alcohol also causes liver toxicity which can be counteracted by NAC which detoxifies.

Sacro-iliac joint: New "sciatica" opposite from herniation can be extension of herniation, neurogenic inflammation of the lowest lumbar discs, a piriformis syndrome or a sacro-iliac joint dysfunction secondary to overworking your right side attempting to protect left side.  You need exam to try to pin down the specific cause and treat that cause!

Alcohol = a toxin: No matter how enjoyable even moderate alcohol drinking may be, the fact remains that it is a toxin for your body -- especially liver and brain.  Essentially you're asking your body to process a poison.  So, your body will be less efficient both during intoxication and until all traces of alcohol have been processed.  Remember that hangover is multifaceted.  Be well.

Shooting pain: Typically shooting pain in the leg. Occasionally through the buttocks or radiating to the hip or lower leg. Can be accompanied by burning, tingling, or numbness.

Sciatica cure?: Depends on the source of your pain. If the pain comes from a compressed nerve root in the lower back, a simple decompression or even an injection can do wonders! general stretching, strengthening and some anti-inflammatories hopefully keep you out of the operating room!
