Consult Podiatrist: Corns can be quite annoying, depending upon their location and friction from adjoining skin or shoe surface to cause pain. If it has affected you significantly for some time, with little help from OTC meds, a consultation with a podiatrist is worth the money and effortt. They can excise it or recommend othe rtreatment option. Feel better:)

Keloids: When a keloid forms the collagen is abnormally layed down causing the lesion to grow outside of the scar. Siilicone is good for fresh scars and hypertrophic scras however kenalog (triamcinolone) injections into the keloid is a good first round treatment option. This is routinely performed by plastic surgeons and dermatologist.

Silicone best: Absolutely. Silicone gel products work much better than mederma in my opinion and are just as easy to use. If you can't use the silicone sheets 24/7 then use a silicone gel product during the day and silicone sheets at night.

Scar care: The use of silicone sheeting has been used for scar care with some documented results. Mederma is an OTC medication from onion extract has shown excellent results, although should probably be used after dermatology consultation. If you continue with scarring from "new acne" there are advances in topical treatments that may stopped new outbreaks of acne and should be recommended to prevent keloids

had flame 2nd degree burn injury 5 mnths bck on chst & nck. now having hypertrophic scar arount nck and chst causing skin tightness. usd contratubex, hexilac & silicone sheet. any remedy for the same to release skin tghtns arnd nck other than surgry?

Not sure: Silicone gel is used for scars, probably best for fresh scars to reduce the formation.  On established scars it is unclear how well it works.  Acne scars are well treated with chemical peels, microneedling and laser treatments.

i had a c-section 2weeks ago. my doctor used the dissolvable stitches. can i put cica care silicone sheet on the scabs? or should i wait until scabs fall off?

: Would be preferable to wait for the scab to fall off.
