i have shoulder pain(left) like around my scapula, what could be the cause?

1-burisitis of the scapula could be the reason.
2-pain from disc disease in the neck area could cause this pain.
3-shoulder problem could cause that also.

Unusual : It would be unusual to have pain from " gas" that would last as long as a month.  It is more likely it is musculoskeletal in orgin.  Don't hesitate to be seen.

Shrugging: Trapezius and levator scapulae muscles are involved with shrugging. The rhomboids are also in that area and work opposite to the pecs. Try ice, and alternating heat to area. Massage may help as well.

a few weeks ago i had an episode of very intense sudden fatigue/tiredness. i had palpitations, mild left scapula and shoulder pain, shortness of breath and mild chest pain. it lasted for 45 minutes. im a woman (41). should i see a doctor?

NSAIDS, ice, heat...: Pain, stiffness, and inflammation can be relieved  with over-the-counter medications like advil or aleve (naproxen). Follow directions on label. Ice for about 45 minutes will address inflammation and swelling, never apply ice to the skin, always over a towel or clothing. Follow this by heat for about 20 to 25 minutes to help soothe and relax tight muscles. Gentle range of motion and stretching exercises.

Be Evaluated: Its not possible to improve the situation without an accurate diagnosis. Shoulder pain can be caused by problems specific to the shoulder, or the pain can be the result of a problem in another location in the body like the neck. Once an accurate diagnosis is made physical therapy targeting the identified problem and some anti inflammatory medication is first line treatment.
