Dermatologist: I'm of the opinion that any skin lesion which looks unusual and is different from any other skin lesions on your body or ones that are changing or symptomatic, should be evaluated by a dermatologist for peace of mind.

: No STD causes any such thing. Sounds like probably normal skin and you're examining yourself too closely. It cannot have anything to do with your recent sexual contact. For sure this isn't herpes.

Keep it clean: Hair around the anus are normal in a male. They can become ingrown and my need to be lasered out. However; before that, try keeping the area clean and dry.

It triggers rashes: Scratching of the skin can trigger eczematous rashes, it damages the skin and can result in bumps and rashes.It also depends on what caused the scraching, as allergies and eczema makes you scratch and this makes the rash worse and there is a vicious cycle and you need meds to stop the ithch to help the patient.

No reason for concer: These are benign over growths of skin that are not related to any cancerous process. They are more a cosmetic issue than anything important.
