Side Effects: There are a number of other prescription cortisones you can try: kenalog (triamcinolone) spray, clobex spray,  clobetasol solution, synalar lotion and others. The above are all prescription.

Seborrheic: You have something called seborrheic dermatitis.  Sometimes this can be due to fungal infection as well.  Treatments include daily anti-fungal shampoo and sometimes steroid cream as well.  For the latter, please consult with your doctor first.

Topical Steroids: Topical steroids can cause thinning of the skin if used long term. The usual use is twice a day for two weeks, rest one week, then repeat if necessary.

Ear dermatitis /numb: Is it just dermatitis (eczema) or psoriasis? and though not the usual rash make sure with numbness it is  not lyme disease. Sometimes get scalp dermatitis from food allergies , so may do elimination diet  off dairy  x 14 days then off gluten x 14  and see if a difference. Would follow up with  dermatologist

See Your Doctor: Seborrheic Dermatitis: chronic inflammatory scalp condition. Dryness, flaking, thick scaly patches, itching all occur in varying degrees. Treatment: daily shampooing/longer lathering, dandruff shampoos (Zinc, Selenium Sulfide, tar, sulfur), avoid hairsprays/pomade, Yeast growth may require anti-fungal shampoos, lotions. Visual inspection is needed for correct diagnosis/treatment. See your doctor.

Seborrheic dermatiti: There is no correlation between seborrheic dermatitis and food so you can eat whatever you like.  You're better off using a dandruff shampoo to address the problem.

Pro mean with: and bio means life.  Probiotics help the GI system digest food.  Anti means against. So, if one takes excessive antibiotics (which are sometimes needed) they can kill off the good bacteria in our GI systems and we can have digestive problems.  Skin condition reflects inside body condition.  Probiotics are used for candida. Choose one w/a large variety of strains in product.  Peace and good health.
