: Dandruff is the result of skin cells of the scalp failing to shed naturally when skin oils and other factors let them build up. Dandruff shampoos contain chemicals that cut through the attachments of old cells and help them separate in a more uniform fashion, often undetected to most people. Dandruff should be seen as a natural part of getting older. It is not a disease but a hair care issue.

i believe i have a vaginal infection and my gynecologist doesnt have an appointment open until next week.  it is very uncomfortable, can i go to a regular doctor? or do i have to go to a gynecologist for this type of infection? thank you, sarah.

Vaginal infection ?': A physician who is general practice or internal medicine can certainly do cultures and treat a simple vaginal infection.

After pelvic surgery: If you had major pelvic dissection, ovary removal, etc, the pelvis may be tender and i would recommend no intercourse for at least 4 weeks. If it was a small(ish) cyst or more minor, i would recommend 2 weeks and resume normal activity as long as you feel well.

Watch and wait: Keep an eye on it.  Cats have very thin sharp teeth which can "inject" bacteria  far more effectively than dogs.  Inspect the are over the next few days.  See a doc if any redness, swelling, etc.  In the meantime, keep it clean.

HMM,Glucose reading?: Re you referring to the Glucose (Sugar) reading?  Depending on your family history, weight, dietary habits, etc. you may be developing type 2 DM as 2 office visit with a fasting glucose reading over 126 can be diagnostic for Type 2 DM.  Decrease carbs and sweets and follow-up with your Dr. for another reading in the near future.

Taping...ugh! : Which tapings are over reg? Taping is prehistoric, but habits are hard to break in the military.  For muscle-bound guys that failed taping, I used to obtain %BF with BIA (bioelectric impedance analysis), now preferred over calipers. If you clearly meet PT standards &amp; you don't look obese, the CMO may advocate for you. Meantime, no alcohol, soda or sugar; no food after 6pm; 50g protein/d &amp; lots H2O

45-90 mins: It is one of the most slowly absorbed of this class of medications (benzodiazapines).  The peak blood level would be about 3 hours after taking it.  Caution with all of this class of medications:  do not mix with alcohol.  Serax can also be habit forming i.e. One can become dependent upon it after taking it for a longer time at a higher dosage.  Do not stop if abruptly without talking to a doctor.
