As a busy student it will give high energy to last through a busy morning through lunch, it will help you lose weight or maintain healthy weight, it will help you think clearer and do better on your morning exams.  Make sure to combine carb with fiber and protein with some fruit, this an ideally balanced meal.

Yes: Your stomach needs to be empty and remain empty for at least 40 min after taking levothyroxine.  If it has been at least 2 hrs between when you last ate and bedtime, you can take it at bedtime.

Breakfast: If your breakfast is very high in fats, it'll slow down your stomach emptying time reducing the onset of hunger. However if you're not experiencing any lassitude, lightheadedness or unsteadiness in the afternoon, then all you require is some fruit or maybe a health bar for lunch and you'll do very well.

Fat: Yes we do. Even if you eat less calories that what you burn, if you eat them in the evening and at one time you will end up with fat deposits.

Egg and Fruit: You may have one or two eggs and fruit.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Is he growing: At that age I expect a kid to eat well 3-5 days a month and nibble the rest.This follows a reduction in growth rate. If his intake sustains normal activities for age and his growth is stable (checkups), it is likely fine.Try not to be seduced into offering junk food as his intake per day will stop when his internal monitor says to.

Eating disorder?: Does she think she's overweight? She may have an eating disorder that requires working with a doc & therapist. With such little food intake, she is losing lean muscle mass as well as fat. Does she complain of stomach pain when she eats? She might have an ulcer or other condition that needs to be evaluated. Encourage her to see a doc asap.
