Saline lavage : Nasal saline rinses and oral saltwater rinses are definitely helpful for both dry nasal passages and a dry throat. There may be other factors to consider in your condition and if you have different concerns, see your doctor for evaluation.

You can but why: You mean only smell and no inhaling of smoke. Nasal Saline rinse will not help even if you were inhaling smoke.The best thing to do if there is wildfire smoke is to get away from it to prevent smoke inhalation.if you only smell smoke,you don't need to do anything But if nasal saline makes you feel better,you can do it,as it will cause no harm

Nasal sprays: Inflammation of the nasal mucosa or lining is best treated with a topical nasal steroid spray like flonase, nasonex, (mometasone) etc.  These nasal steroid sprays take some time (months) to work and should be used every day, not just for a week or two.  Additionally, nasal saline sprays will help by keeping the nasal lining moist because dryness can cause more inflammation.  Think about a humidifier at night.

Depends: Good Q! Budesonide is a potent synthetic corticosteroid (but does not metabolize into cortisol).  Im unsure what vials you're adding - but budesonide is available as an intranasal steroid (sold under the brand name, Rhinocort Aqua).  Roughly 34% of each dose of intranasal budesonide reaches systemic circulation. As for increasing infection - its certainly possible but dep. on a lot of factors.

Also read this first: http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm316375.htm so you don't use water straight from tap.

Instructions: The instructions your surgeon gave you should be strictly followed. Rinsing may dislodge the medicated dressings, but if that's what your surgeon told you to do, then follow his/her directions.

You : You could try to bend your neck in several directions to get the fluid out.  Bending over could work, but be careful because bending low can cause bleeding.  Do not blow your nose unless cleared by your surgeon.  The nausea/seasickness may also be from any pain meds that you are on.  The irrigation in the post-op perior is very important, so try to maintain it.

Probably okay: Saline nasal spray done several times per day should also help keep the nasal mucosa more moist so it does not crack and bleed. Putting some Vaseline in the nose at night and massaging it around also works very well.

my cat scratched my eye the white part, and it's a little cut that is red from blood should i go to the er or is saline rinse good enough ?

Go to the ER: I SUGGEST YOU GO TO THE ER AS CAT SCRACH CAN CAUSE INFECTION AND ALSO CAUSE CORNEAL ABRASION WHICH CAN BE CHECKED BY STAINING THE EYE WITH FLEUROSCEINE DYE
May need to follow with your doctor or Opthalmologist
