Follow instructions: Seriously! Each version has it's own instructions/directions so read carefully & follow them. Or make your own by following directions here: http://www.aaaai.org/conditions-and-treatments/library/allergy-library/saline-sinus-rinse-recipe.aspx. Also read this first: http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm316375.htm so you don't use water straight from tap.
