i recently moved from grant nebraska to lincoln nebraska due to a role change within farm credit services.  
i get my rx refills at cvs by phone/mail.  i need to refill my high blood pressure medicine losartan/hct 50-12.5 tab.  however, when i ordered it they needed a renewed rx from my doctor.  but they said the dr. would not renew the rx because i had not been to see him in a year.  i don't want to take a trip back to north platte to see my old dr.  can write me a new script?

Not on this platform: Establishing with a local doc would be your best plan going forward. All meds should be taken with clear goals, for defined periods of time limited to their efficacy/ side effect ratio. While you may be able to fill and bridge yourself to until getting to see a physician, your best long term plan is having your treatment supervised.

Possibly: A prescription may be provided by a physician via Healthtap but this will require that you make an appointment with a physician to discuss your medical history, current concerns, medications and other issues that you may have.  Certain medications are restricted from telehealth prescribing so there are limitations.

Script: As soon as your medical records are obtained your new psychiatrist should be able to bridge you with 1 refill prior to be seen. Otherwise it will be extremely difficult to find any physician to prescribe meds without having access to your history. Alternatively, your PCP would be best positioned to refill if aware of your psych issues.

The best prescription creams to help reverse some of the fine wrinkles and aging changes are retinoinds, like tretinoin and its relatives.  These can be irritating so start using them slowly and use sun protection.

GErd: OMperazole was not intended to be used for long periods of time, but in some cases it is  needed. The question is why do you have gerd. Do you smoker, have diabetes, sleep apnea, do you have a large fat-covered belly?  Are you eating then laying down with a full stomach? Omeprazole use for a long period of time often causes rebound acidity when stopped, Do you need omperaozle? See a doctor

Probably ok, but...: Can test if worried. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant.
