i had a cyst rupture 5 weeks ago and when i got checked i was told i have another cyst. i haven't had a period yet could the unruptured cyst be why?

Follicular cyst: This is probably a ovarian follicular cyst. Have your GYN MD recheck by ultrasound or exam after your period as these type of cysts often disappear after a period.

Variable.: It sounds like you had a ruptured follicular cyst.  This happens when the normal ovarian follicle doesn't release an ovum but instead continues to grow.  (In your case in grew to the point it ruptured.)  Follicular cysts don't produce the normal pattern of hormones that regulate that menstrual cycle.  If your cycles are usually regular, you should have a period within 4 weeks.

Not sure.: You need to see your doctor if you're not having periods.  You need to be worked up with history, physical, labs and possibly imaging.

Not yet: You can observe for a little while, but this breakthrough bleeding and now the heavier bleeding - are not normal.  If they persist; i.e. - if your periods don't normalize in another month or so a sonogram and visit w/your ob/gyn would be helpful.

Unlikely: Ovarian cyst are usually small in size  and does not what you have described.
Even big ones will build up and cause trouble in stomach but does not "leak" from vagina

i .have a ruptured cyst causing light bleeding my gyno gave me trenaxamic acid for that...my question is when i will have my coming period..

Depends: If your periods are predictable may just fall when it is due, although if about due for your period now may be lighter or absent due to the tranexamic acid.  If your periods are unpredictable it would be worth a doctor consult to tease out reasons why, or possibly ask your gynaecologist who may know more specifics about your case  All the best.

is it normal to have a cycle with 2 periods in a month? i am having another period when my first one started only 13 days ago. went to ob had a trans vag us normal. only a cyst of fluid was found. i had a 6 cm cyst simple cyst rupture since last us?

: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

Yes.: Yes, you should still get your period. Your period is a result of no implantation of an fertilized egg in your uterus. This is not related to an ovarian cyst rupturing.

See your doctor: If you have missed two consecutive periods with a negative preg test and are not on medications that suppress menses, you should see your doctor and see if he or she can induce a menstrual period.
