i have a round red spot on my toe. doesnt itch or hurt. could this be covid toe? how long do they take to develop, and how do they start? could also be from shoes?

COVID toes:  If there is pressure against part of your toe from a shoe - that could cause redness. Covid toes are red or purple lesions on toes or hands, which can sometimes cause tenderness &amp; pain. It is usually seen in pretty healthy people &amp; tends to resolve on it's own within a few weeks. Erythema nodosum: The most likely cause of red spots more likely on lower legs  but can occur on the human foot is erythema nodosum. These are really a macular (not raised)  and are firm under the skin. Consult your local dermatologist.   Cortisone is helpful even cortisone injection.

Many possibilities: There are many causes of skin discoloration and rashes.   Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections, insect bites and malignancies can cause discoloration of the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

Not related: The spot could be a range of things from rash, allergic reaction,  blister, birth mark, etc.  There may not be a connection to foot cramping other than dehydration, lack of nutrients, or proper stretching.

Facial redness?: See your primary doctor or a dermatologist, who should be able to ask you detailed questions and examine you to help diagnose and prescribe the best treatment to help improve or resolve the signs and symptoms you are describing. Topical cream and/or laser or light treatment(s) as well as behavioral/ dietary modification may be part of your treatment plan.

See a dermatologist: I would recommend that you see a dermatologist for a definitive diagnosis. If it can't be diagnosed by simply looking at it, they may have to biopsy to find out what it is. Whatever it is it shouldn't be there that long. Best wishes.

May be fungus: There is a list if the things it may be, but the most common is fungus. The second most common is eczema. Try a topical anti-fungal like lamisil (terbinafine). If no better then Cortaid 10. If it persists an exam and possibly a biopsy is warranted.

i have pain in my knee when i try to straighten my leg. after walking about 3 or 4 feet i get a big red spot ontop. it swells up when i walk?

Possible bursitis: Pain on straightening your leg associated with a red spot may indicate that you have an inflamed pre-pattlla bursitis.  You may even have an infection. See a doc sooner than later.
