Contact Dentist: It is not feasible to provide advice without examining you. It would be prudent to contact the dentist who performed the procedure. You may take paracetamol, no more than 4 g/day, no alcohol.

Accepted Answer

Yes: The number of teeth being worked on has no effect on the outcome of the root canal procedure as long as the patient can tolerate the procedures and numbness (if necessary) in multiple areas of the mouth.  Many patients prefer longer appointments to get more treatment completed.

No: I am not a fan of root canals so my answer would be no. However a dentist may be able to provide a more complete answer.

Accepted Answer

Perhaps: First the cause of the pain would have to be determined.  If infected tooth, probably.  If fractured tooth root, probably not.  Etc.  You need to be examined to determine the source of your pain and then the appropriate treatment.  The sooner this is addressed, the less complex (expensive) the "fix."  Please call Dentist now.

about a month after having a root canal two teeth next to the tooth that had the root canal are starting to hurt after chewing.  what is causing this.

Torgue: If you are still missing a tooth, you may be putting too much strain on the adjacent ones leading to the pain. 
Another issue with a missing tooth is that the adjacent ones would shift (usually forwards) thus changing the dynamics.  Contact your dentist if problem persists.

i had a root canal done 3 days ago. is it ok for me to go out? some people say that it is bad going out when you have gotwork done on your teeth. is it true?

Go, Go, Go! : After a root canal there is usually little to worry about, certainly if the procedure was completed properly. I would be careful if you are taking pain medications, but otherwise go out and have fun. Remember to follow all restorative instructions from your dentist regarding this new root canal.

i got a root canal done. i don't like the crown they put on me;it feels too bulkly. i made more visits to get it shaved down and i still don't like it. is redoing the crown not good for my teeth under?

No problem: If you don't like the crown have it redone. It won't  hurt the tooth underneath in any way.

Yes: Internal bleaching or crown coverage is neccesary after rct.
