Sounds like : You may have a charcot foot. You should get insurance. Procedures like this will cost a lot of money as likely it would be done in a hospital so you would have hospital related costs. Under obamacare, you should be able to get insurance without being charged for a pre existing condition.

In a rocker bottom foot, the weight can go to the mid foot where is does not belong, breaking that part of the foot down. Moisturizing cream: If wet from sweating, try antiperspirant or changing socks mid day or wearing coolmax socks.  Sweating drys out the skin because of the salt that is excreted.  Moisturize your feet .  You could also have athletes foot, if your feet itch.  If so see a podiatrist.

Foot pain.: This is tough.  Plantar fasciitis? Thinning soles of feet.  Trauma from weight, diabetes, foot arthritis, drug side effect, lumbar disc disease???  I assume that your physician has looked into these.  if not, I think you might get them looked into a bit more before doing more therapy that isn't working.
