Ritalin (methylphenidate) it's been linked to serotonin, a naturally  occurring chemical on the brain that appear to inhibit behavior and activity. Studies showed that adhd symptoms can decrease by raising the level of serotonin in the brain.

Your symptoms are more suggestive of anxiety or panic attacks, but you should see a doctor to evaluate for other causes such as cardiac arhthmythia, anemia, hyperactive thyroid.

I wouldn't: After a period of use your system usually becomes accustom to the Ritalin &amp; side effects settle down. Propranolol has its own set of side effects during use which may require blood test monitoring. I would not add another med without close supervision, especially when time may make the perceived need vanish.

Adderal: Adderal and/or r italin can cause high blood pressure. It is also advisable to screen these children for cardiac problems before starting on medication. Children with pre existing conditions are more prone to develop worsening of their cardiac problems.
