how can i treat ringing in ears caused by sinus pressure? i have already taken pseudoephredrine & mucinex (guaifenesin).

When does it start/stop? 
Where does it go? 
What makes it better/worse? 
How long does it last?  
Medication helps/worsens?
 If you think something you eat/drink/do stop it &amp; see. If better, go back again &amp; retest until u r convinced it is something u should stop. Then stop it.

Discuss with Drs. You all will figure it out.

Eustachian tube: Eustachian tube dysfunction may take many weeks to improve.  Autoinsufflation (pinch nose and blow gently), nasal steroid spray and decongestants may help.  If symptoms persist, see an otolaryngologist for a thorough evaluation.

Probably not a tumor: Things like sinus infection is a lot more likely than a tumor as an explanation for your symptoms.  See if your doctor can see you today to check this out for you.

Side effects accutan: Sounds like you have an upper respiratory illness and not side effects from accutane.

Probably not: Maxillary retention cysts are common, in some series up to 40% of individuals.  In the vast majority of cases they are free of symptoms.  When they cause problems there is usually a history of maxillary sinusitis, maxillary or dental discomfort, nasal congestion. It is unlikely that your symptoms are related.

Its connected: Clogged sinuses can eventually connect to the eustachian tube and cause ear pain. Its all part of a connected plumbing system. One part can certainly affect the other !

Get back on it: Give it a while to make sure it is not just your body's withdrawl from the drug.  If it persists, get back on it.  Thats why they make it.

Saline nasal spray.: Middle ear fliud is usually caused by eustachian tube dysfunction.   The eustachian tube openings are in the back of the nose.  Saline nasal rinses can help especially if you have sinus or allergy problems also.  A valsalva maneuver to pop the ears twice a day can be helpful if done gently.   Medicines like mucinex-d can also be useful for adults without high blood pressure.

Numbness and pain: You may be having a sinus or other infection.  You need to see your doctor for an examination to determine the cause and help you.
