ive been to the er all tests came back normal. my right hip has a mass and my right thigh is swollen it makes me walk funny. how can i explain this to my doctor so they order the right test and imaging?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. There may be a hematoma in the thigh that could explain the symptoms. If the symptoms are improving, you may watch and wait. If the symptoms fail to resolve in a week or get worse, see a doctor.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i have right leg (thigh) swelling and a hip mass they said it was bursitis but it doesnt hurt.hip only hurts when i open my legs,my vagina is swollen today that i cant put a tampon in it. do you think these two are related beingso close toeachother?

: The 'they' are not correct. Pl see a doc/ orthopod who will examine you and do appropriate tests and treat you. now If not possible go to an ER. Good luck

Just Watch it!: Numbness could be due to compression of a nerve along the upper outer part of the thigh and pelvis or it could be secondary to low back issues. If symptoms persist or worsen see an orthopedist.

Risk of Thrombosis : such acute and progressive swelling and pain concerns me, you must rule out deep or superficial vein thrombosis, and or Cellulitis. Better be seen asap.

I do not know: Unfortunately, without an exam and a diagnosis, I do not know if it is serious or not.  Most lumps are benign such as lipomas or even small cysts or abscesses that may need simple treatment from a dr.  On rare occasions the lump may be serious.  Get the lump checked out to be sure.  Good luck.

front of right thigh still numb 10 hours after epidural. everywhere else wore off. nurse not concerned but should i be?

Labor Epidural?: This may not be related to the actual Epidural itself. If this were a labor epidural and you gave birth in stirrups, and your legs were flexed at the hip for any length of time, while under the effect of the epidural this may very well be a result of that flexed position. Especially if the numbness is just on the one side. It should get better with time. If no improvement in  10 days see your OB.

had a c cection on march 31st and ever since my right thigh feels numb and pain when i push on it and random stinging feeling?

R L3 nerve problem: During your c-section i presume you were awake with a spinal or epidural.  The anesthesia may have caused a right sided compression on the lumbar -l3 nerve to your right thigh causing persistent numbness, pain, 'stinging' .  It should improve with time but an lumbar MRI may help sort out the diagnosis. Hope you are better soon!
