Flu?: It could be influenza, but could also be another viral or bacterial infection. If your symptoms are not improving, see your doctor.

Rhinitis: Since there is no other detail (age etc) given, it is difficult to provide you an answer.  If eating yogurt causes you to sneeze , avoidance is the only answer.  Consider consulting an allergist if you are bothered enough.

Saline nasal wash: AS with any irritant, soap in your nose can be flushed out with a saline nasal wash (available OTC at any pharmacy). Follow the directions carefully and flush each nostril at least one time with enough saline solution to clear away any irritants. Complete recovery may take up to 24 hours.

i am having a severe running of liquid in my throat, it tastes bad, also i have dry mouth. i have been coughing and sneezing as well, my nose is a little runny. i want to know is it post nasal drip or acid reflex.

Dr. can check throat: Throat symptoms in an older adult can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold virus, influenza (Tamiflu may be needed), or from some other cause such as allergies, irritants, sinusitis, cancer, stomach acid reflux, etc... Usually, a person sees her doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, is with moderate or high fever, or with much coughing or worrisome symptoms.

See ENT: Nasal steroids are good for allergy but also to stop growth from polyps, take decongestionants & antihistamines if not better get ENT specialist.

It is due to nasal inflammation which can happen due to mold, mildew, viruses, dust, dust mites, dander, pollen that can circulate in your immediate environment once air-conditioning is turned on. Having a HEPA filter and regularly performing maintenance can help. Also, maintaining optimal humidity would help. Consider certified service of your AC unit.

Evaluation: Have you tried different Dr.'s?  Allergists, ENT, respiratory specialists?  There could be some type of trigger that is creating and need to get to source rather than treating symptoms with meds, etc

Is it a cold: Or allergies?  Allergies can cause these symptoms.  Try over the counter allergy meds.

More likely allergy: If  you have otherwise healthy then the problem is more likely from allergies.  Try the OTC steroid nasal spray for several days . If still having problem, see your doctor or an allergist.
