Rehabilitation eval: Long standing "tightness" in the hand after a stroke is very common.  If left untreated it can worsen with time.  Evaluation by a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician can be helpful to determine the best treatment for his tightness (spasticity).  Medications, physical therapy, splinting, or botulinum toxin injections are all options to consider.

Time to see your doc: A minor shock should have no symptoms after a few hours. Persistent symptoms after three weeks indicates a significant injury or another problem. A more in depth medical history and physical examination are the best places to start.

More Tests and info: You mentioned that there was no acidity, what other blood tests were done. I'm of the opinion that the acidity you refer to is Uric Acid. Was an Arthritis profile test performed together with an Auto-immune profile. If not, then those tests are required to get a clearer picture of your painful swollen fingers.

What kind of work are you doing and are you right or left handed?

Inflammation: If you are a healthy person and doing manual labor it is not unusual to have stiffness and soreness of the hands. If you have no stomach problems, bleeding tendency, or kidney or liver problems it is safe to take over the counter Motrin with food. Please take as recommended on the bottle or your physician. With rest and medication this should resolve in 1week. Otherwise see you primary doctor.

Depends: It depends on the cause (ie is it muscular or arthritic in nature).  Mostly grip strengthening exercises can help.  But if it continues you should be evaluated.
