Benefits unclear: There is evidence vit e might prevent heart disease, cancer, macular degeneration & dementia but research has given mixed & conflicting results. Ideally 2x/day: I know of no advantage of taking vit. C in morning vs. Evening so either time should be fine. However, our body can not store vitamin c and little of what you take in the morning will still be in your body at nite, so for optimal benefits i advise taking at least 250 mg of vit c both morning ; bedtime. Vitamins do not: help w/weight gain.  Your diet, exercise level, and your metabolism all determine your weight.  Please start by seeing your doc to make sure thyroid and other hormones are in balance.  Then see a nutritionist for an appropriate food plan.  Good fats like coconut oil are good along w/protein.  Exercise will build and define muscle.  Please don't define yourself by your weight.

Iodine: You are paying to eat dried green-brown seaweed. Kelp is not a vitamin, but it's got plenty of iodine in it, which is good especially if you life in a country where they don't iodize salt or you don't get iodine for whatever reason. Don't spend too much money on this or any other supplement; you're better off especially at your age building physical fitness.

The average us diet will provide adequate vitamin intake so that there is no need for supplements.  When there is a specific vitamin deficiency it is due to a disease process and multi-vitamins are not necessary.  Just the vitamin lacking.

Maybe: If you have a known vitamin deficiency, then replacement therapy is good for you.  However, very few people in the USA eating anything close to a regular diet have vitamin deficiency. For almost everyone else, vitamin tablets are good for the financial health of the drug companies, but do not do much for the consumer.
