Immunosupressed: The retina is a very protected site and  so inflammation is uncommon. There are a few viruses that can do so especially in the immunosupressed.  There are a few autoimmune processes that attack the retina under the generic name uveitis. Some parasites can invade the retina like toxoplasmosis and histoplasmosis.  If you have symptoms, floaters and vision loss, see your ophthalmologist.

Yes: Almost all disease states have inflammation as a component.  Now some micro-vascular autoimmune diseases are a direct result of an inflammatory process.  I need more specifics of type of inflammation you are referring to.

Two different issues: Vascular inflammation typically refers to inflammation within the vessel wall or a plaque.  Systemic inflammation is more diffuse.  Granted one can lead to the other.

Biopsy will show: Diagnosis of Ulcerative colitis is complex and has to be verified by the biopsy findings (your dr most likely had taken multiple biopsies from different parts of the colon and sent them to the pathologist for examination)

Can, Operative Word: Key issue: atherosclerosis, an accumulation of white blood cells in the walls of arteries, typically starts in childhood & primarily driven by lipoproteins (the proteins which transport fat in the water outside cells). As disease progresses, artery walls thicken & expand (not narrow); the ds remains asymptomatic for decades. Statins ↓ cholesterol production every cell; tend to ↓ LDL particle conc.

? what part ?: The eye is comprised of  many separate tissues that either support or provide vision. The outer membranes can be inflamed from things as simple as dust, chemicals or infectious agents, any or all of which can either self heal or need specific treatments. Internal eye inflammation needs a doctors care. The site can provide more specific answers when the questions are clear.

Depends: This depends upon what the inflammation is caused by.  This is an easy question to answer.  See an eye doctor.  Is the cost of a visit worth your vision?  The eye is not a structure you should fool with yourself (if there are any).
