i had an abdominal and pelvic ctscan and it didnt mention anything about ovaries and about the uterus it just said uterus present. i think they focused on my adrenal glands and the result said no acute pathology. that means no mass in uterus?

: A "CT scan for abdominal and pelvic" clinical information should have included both ovaries and uterus , and the statement on the radiology report was not a complete one.  Ask the physician who ordered the scan to comment on both.

Your doctor: Pathology reports are generally sent to the doctor requesting the test.  Reports are not usually sent to the patient directly, as all lab reports need to be interpreted in the context of the total health picture.  Most blood lab tests are reported the same day. Tissue reports often take 2-7 days or longer, depending on the complexity of examination.

slides were sent to johns hopkins for pathology consultation. results -high grade differ vin. surgical  pathology- no vin. why are the results differe?

Expert opinion: It is not uncommon for two experts to have different opinions. In your case you need follow up care and may need repeat biopsy after a few months/year. Just know that there is no cancer detected. Even under the more abnormal report, it only warrants repeat testing.

pulmonologist: See a doctor of pulmonology asap.  You need treatment.  Tb is reportable and usually the local health office will follow up and any positive cultures for tb.

i was diagnosed with seromucinous cystadenoma, is this cause by endometriosis? i was said i have endometriosis but when my pathology result came it turns out seromucinous cystadenoma?

: Translation= endometriosis is a condition where endometrial tissue is located in unusual places (not in the womb) like scattered throughout the pelvis. It can be suspected by history and some non-invasive tests. Seromucous cystadenoma is just a pathologist's interpretation of tissue submitted for analysis, usually from a biopsy.  Discuss this with the doc who knows your case. You could have both.

Not sure: What you mean?  Concordinance is what you want between the radiologist's impression and the pathologist's report.  If you are worried get a second opinion.

Often 1-2 days: Usually one set of microscopic slides is prepared right away and a second set is prepared using a different method overnight. Your pathologist will look at both sets the next day. Often a diagnosis can be made then (about 1 day), although if additional tests need to be performed on the sample to confirm the diagnosis, it may add another day or so. The report usually goes to your doctor first.
