how soon after using aldara (imiquimod) cream should i see results?

Wait for it: The package insert of aldara:
"early clinical clearance cannot be adequately assessed until resolution of local skin reactions (e.g. 12 weeks post-treatment)."

to me, this means it's hard to tell if the stuff is working until you've finished a full course of it, since it induces irritation of the whole area.

The label says it's important to finish the whole course of medicine--stick with it!

There: are a great number of products!!!!
They tend to be PRICEY and have many Hollywood/TV stars recommending them
They all have ONE THING in common  They HYDRATE (cause water to enter) the SKIN...that's how they work!

Sunscreen and Niacin: In order to lighten the skin effectively after sun exposure, it is important to use a broad spectrum sunscreen every day.  Applying a topical cream with a pro-niacin formula (nia 24) will reduce the appearance of the brown spots.

Fasting Blood Work: Well it may or may not "mess with the results" as you say. It depends on what is being tested for. Are you waiting until afternoon to get the blood work done because that is when your appointment is? Why not go to the office as soon as they open to get your blood work? Then you can have your coffee and cream. If your fasting sugar is 125 you don't have diabetes,if 126 you do. Any difference?

Duct tape: There are a number of anecdotal accounts of the shrinkage of warts with duct tape.  Can't hurt and worth a try.  Just tear off piece and plant it over one of your wart crops for six weeks and then take a peek.

No: But if you are pregnant you need to be treated for the yeast infection if you do indeed have one

Some options . . .: For treatment of acne, over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide gel/cream is quite helpful. If desired, a doctor can add an antibiotic gel/cream such as Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) gel. If more help is needed, prescription retinoids such as Retin-A or Differin gel can be used instead of benzoyl peroxide. Oral antibiotics such as tetracycline can be used also. If acne is quite severe, a dermatologist might use oral Accutane.

how fast can i expect to see results using triaminocolone acetonide cream 1% for my itchy hyperpigmented skin?? i just started using it today and i am expected to apply twice daily. one week?? two?? a month??

: Steroids, like Triamcinolone, work as anti-inflammatory drugs and show their effects within  one to two weeks.
If there is no obvious benefit within the first 3 weeks of local applications, it is unlikely that this medicine will provide meaningful benefit. Alternative treatment choices should then be explored.
