: Do you mean art.blood pH or urine dipstick pH?  Need more info. One needs both to see where you are. Also blood electrolytes.  Wikipedia has a good discussion of alkalosis and acidosis and the Henderson-Hasselbac equation.  One needs to read this several times with a pencil and paper to work with before it becomes clear. Or at least it did for me in Medical School.  To treat disturbance find cause

is drinking 3 liters of waters everyday good for my kidneys? it's the advice of my nephrologist. i have renal parenchymal disease, bilateral.

Depends: If you have stones in kidneys, you need lots of fluids. If you have edema or take Lasix (furosemide) (water pills) you needn't to drink much since you already have lots of fluids in your system. If none of the above, 1-3 liters are ok. The range is d/t the weather.  Near 3 liters in summer or athletic activity and near 1 liter if no losses. Discuss with your doc to see his point. Parenchymal dz is not specific.

i have stage 4 renal failure waiting for nephrologist appt. im 3 days constipated. what can i take that wont harm kidney function?

PEG: Polyethylene glycol (miralax) is safe and effective. It is most important to avoid products that contain magnesium or phosphate.

Not necessary: Angiomyolipomas are benign, it is small, and doing something about it would only cause problems when it is not causing any.

This doesn't add up: Non-diabetic renal glycosuria (i.e., the kidney spills glucose despite normal blood levels) doesn't produce symptoms. Urine odor doesn't reflect glucose levels at all reliably. Ketostix often yield +1 for no reason, or because you're hungry. With dysautonomia and gastroparesis, is there perhaps a misunderstanding, with diabetes a possibility? You have a right to full information.

what can i take or use for folliculitis over the counter? dont have insurance and can't afford to see a specialist.

Depends: It really depends on the cause of the folliculitis as there are many causes, both infectious and non-infectious (ie irritation from friction, shaving, etc).  Or it may not be folliculitis which is why you may need to see a derm.  But, it might be worth a try to get some otc benzoyl peroxide wash, which you can find in the acne section and try to wash the areas x 2-3 min daily.  May dry out skin.

why i don't look my age i have very small mustache and less beard wich specialist i need to contact. i am 26 but look like 16?
