: The normal rate is 60-100. So technically 50s is below normal. Several issues affect the heart rate and can vary depending on activity and emotions, health issues, temperature, things we take in. A low heart rate may be of no concern on the other hand it can be. See your doctor.

They are not: These are normal findings.  The changes are associated with aging.  The position of the uterus is affected by child birth, c-sections, and just plain old time.  Also, the redundant colon just means your colon has a lot of curves - it's not diseased.

Some of them, e.g., fetal alcohol syndrome, neural tube defects associated with Folic Acid deficiency, can be caused by action or inaction of pregnant women.  Women pregnant or planning to get pregnant should avoid alcohol abuse, maintain adequate nutrition, and receive prenatal cares as recommended by her obstetrician.

Facial palsy: I assume you are asking about facial palsy or paralysis. Congenitalmeans present at birth. Birth trauma, especially if lots of head molding or a forceps delivery can injure facial nerve. There are also a couple of conditions with facial nerve involvement at birth - Dystrophia myotonica and Mobius syndrome. Treatment may be anything from nothing to Botox to surgical intervention for nerve repair.

See below: Now with better genetic testing, more experience and the ability with ultrasound to detect fetal abnormalities in utero (in the womb) we are much better at working out what the abnormalities are.
