May be...: Without a direct look, it's hard to tell for sure what they may be although they may represent the presence of calcinosis cutis maybe resulting from epidermal pilar cysts with defected wall &amp; calcification. Clinically, they are harmless unless becoming infected - rarely so requiring no treatment as long as mentally comfortable. If wanting to be treated, skillful use of laser or needle cauteriziing

? CPPD ?: If there is no pain except with strenuous activity such as basketball quadriceps strengthening may help.  The most important step is to get an accurate diagnosis.  If the "calcium deposits" are Calcium pyro phosphate deposition disease thre are specific treatments depending upon your symptoms.  I would recommend you see a rheumatologist.

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
