A member asked:

Is it ok to squeeze a calcium deposit under the skin and expell the white paste inside? what causes them and how can you keep them away?

Molluscum?: I am not a dermatologist, but I have not heard of calcium deposit under the skin like you describe. It sounds like molluscum contagiosum, a skin lesion caused by a virus. For more information, and an image for comparison purposes, see: http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/medical/im01401.

Is this a cyst?: It may be more likely that this is a common cyst and the material you express is not calcium. Calcium deposits don't really come out of the skin like that. Seeing your doctor will help determine what you have.
