They all involve a little discomfort and bruising afterwards but they generally work well.  The problem is that they aren't permanent solutions and you are likely to need treatment again some day.

Yes: Facial veins can be treated with radio frequency device, laser, and ipl.  Some use sclerotherapy, but I have avoided using them.

Yes, possibly: Laser around the nose and eyelids is an effective treatment. There is also treament that is sort of similar to electrolysis that works too.  It is called photocoagulation.

Possibly: I often tell patients that pain is like the red "warning light" in your car when you start the engine.  If it goes on, it may be nothing, but it may be something, so best to take it to the mechanic.  Pain is often that "warning light" for our body.  It shouldn't hurt to urinate, so if it does I would see your Dr and get a simple urinalysis to rule out infection.
