Skin reaction: Many patients can have a skin reaction after getting bitten.  Mild swelling, redness and itchiness are somewhat initial normal responses.  Occasionally, some patients will have worse reactions due to an allergic response.   If you are concerned you should have an exam done with the correct diagnosis and treatment plan!

Bitten by what?: It could be infected by whatever bit you.  I would recommend that you get to a doctor for evaluation and treatment.

See primary doc: Pedal edema can result from ibuprofen and naproxen use. I have mainly seen it with Celebrex, (celecoxib) though. With your history of cancer, it makes sense to rule out a deep venous thrombosis or clot. Please see your physician for a doppler ultrasound if necessary. The fact that both legs are swollen makes that less likely. Still, it is best to make sure the swelling is not due to heart, kidney, or liver dz

See a doctor: Put ice on it till you get to the doctor and take an antihistamine like benedryl. You possibly need oral antibiotics. Elevate the foot as much as possible. Tetanus immunization should also be reviewed.

ringworm. when i itch it seems to gets swollen.

You have to : Try your best not to itch , this makes the problem worse. You can be spreading fungus or bacteria when you scratch as your nails are burrowing into the skin. If you feel it's ringworm then that would be a fungus so apply an antifungal agent rub with finger tips don't scratch with nails.

Hives vs bites: The question is whether these are bites or hives indicating an allergic response to something internal or external. If the welts clear after a day only to appear elsewhere, this would favor an allergic reaction to food,medication,etc rather than insect bites which last several days at each site. Antihistamines relieve hives and the itching of bites. See your MD as needed.

Might need: Antibiotics . You did not say how long ago you stepped on it. If it just happened you could try soaking in domeboro  three times a day for 15 minutes but if there  is a chance of leaving a splinter behind or if it has already been a couple of days the you should probably seek care.

See your physician: spider bites notoriously are slow to heal, and can leave large openings. This is something you need to discuss with your position, and you need to keep it clean and protect against infection
