Maybe: There are various conditions associated. Smoking may be one. Red palms with liver disease is due to increased estrogen. There are many other causes. Your DR can evaluate you to see if it means something significant. You may never arrive at a satisfactory explanation. Do you have PCOS? Other hormone abnormality?

Peripheral nerves: Chronic alcohol use will causes changes to different regions of the body.  The liver is the more serious, but the peripheral nerves can be involved as well as the small blood vessels in the hands, feet, nose and ears.  Peripheral neuropathy can cause tingling and pain in the hands and feet.  This may improve off alcohol, but may need medication.  Red flaring of hands, nose, ears is permanent.

No: Red palms IS palmar erythema. Red hands is not. What you describe may be true palmar erythema, or it may not. It is never due to diversion of blood flow away from the hands. Besides advanced liver disease, it can be due to local factors on the hands, thyroid disease, eczema, psoriasis, blood disorder [increase in red cells], pregnancy or increased estrogen, etc. Avoid alcohol.

Many possibilities: There are many types and causes of skin rashes.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

: It appears that you should have some blood tests done to include a cbc&amp;diff,complete metabolic profile,thyroid function &amp; complete urinalysis for beginners. If you're experiencing menstrual irregularities, hormonal testing should be added. Concerns in your case would also include high estrogen levels to explain very red palms. Associated itching could mean allergies are at play too. Taking meds?

Blood tests: See doc. History of iv, nasal drug use?  Asian born or family history of hepatitis?  Family history of liver disease? Use of drugs, anabolic steroids, herbals, supplements, alcohol?
If not, unlikely liver disease. Exam will reveal if signs of liver trouble, including if your palms are worrisome. Lab tests confirm if liver trouble or not. If so, more evaluation and rx ahead. If not, likely relax.
