Normal: There are thousands of bump(papillia) on the tongue.  These bump and taste buds are various shapes and sizes with multiple functions.  On the back of the tongue, there is a band of large lumps usually in a v-shaped pattern.  You may be looking at them.  If want to be sure consult your dentist about your concern.

Could be taste buds: The dorsum (top surface) of the tongue is full of taste buds. The posterior part of the tongue will have some small rounded bumps that may represent taste buds known as fungiform papillae and larger ones known as circumvallate papilla.

See your MD a rapid test can be done to rule it out and if needed antibiotics can be prescribed at the same time

Viral infection: The lumps in the back of the tongue may be circumvallate papillae which are taste buds.  They may be inflamed.  The red spots in the back of your throat may be infected lymph nodes.  Although the most likely diagnosis is an upper respiratory tract viral infection, I would strongly recommend you see a physician for a culture and sensitivity of the yellow material in the back of the throat.

i have a sore throat neck pain when looking down & up, inflamed tonsils, small red lumps far back on my tongue, dizziness, fatigue, could you please help?

No way: To tell you the cause, but viral upper respiratory infections are much more frequent than bacterial. So if i were to guess i would guess a self limited viral pharyngitis and recommend either tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen or Naproxen for pain control, rest, fluids, and some patience.

: A Flu, COVID-19 and Strep test may be helpful. Stay well hydrated, use social distancing and rest. Nasal saline is often effective in reducing congestion. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and monitor temperature.
