i randomly get small white bumps on my lower inside lid, the water line, sometimes they open like a pimple but have no liquid, are painful only if i touch them, dont cause eye redness or affect my vision, are open. go away 1/2 days. hsv?i have ghsv2?

can blepharitis cause pain on your eyelids? i know blepharitis causes redness and irritation, but can it also cause pain?

The : The most commons symtpoms with blepharitis is itching of the eyelid and burning or irritation in the eye.  Pain may represent the progression to developing a stye, or a chalazion on the eyelid.  A stye is usually less painful and can be treated with antibiotic ointments.  A chalazion is an inflammatory nodule that develops in the eyelid.  If you have pain it is best to see your eye doctor.

Any mass or lumps?: If so use moist heat, wet cloth., over the area for 10 minutes and repeat 3-4 times a day. If concerned please have this examined by your doctor.

Swollen eyelid ?'s: A single side swelling of an eyelid may be caused by conjunctivitis, which may be otherwise non-symptomatic.  If this continues, see an ophthalmologist for an exam and potential treatment.

The Eyes Have It: A common side for those who drive with the window down. Maybe a small foreign body (if it won't wash out, see a doctor), or the start of a stye ('hordeolum'), which is a small infection of the eyelid that can eventually get pretty big. Get in the shower and rinse the eye good. If that helps, wait and see if an infection develops (red, swollen), if not, read the first sentence again.

Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.
