Dark red line gums: It may be inflammation, you may have gingivitis or/and periodontal disease. Plaque is a sticky bio film that can be removed with a toothbrush, calculus is a harder and attaches itself to the tooth and root surface and needs to be removed professionally by a hygienist or dentist. See you dentist for an evaluation.

May not be bad: An experienced person has to take a look. Possibilities are many and may  be  minor. Thrush and leukoplakia come to my mind. They may need medical treatment. Meanwhile try intense hygiene with frequent toothbrushing and mouth wash after meals.

Needs further test: Has your diet changed in the past few days or weeks? Does your mouth feel dry or does it seem drier than in the past? Have you changed  your toothpaste or mouth rinse? It could be an allergy of some kind.  You might see an allergist.  You could also get the tissue biopsied to determine what's happening within the tissue.

Infection: This sounds like an infection.  If you are taking the antibiotic as prescribed by your dentist or doctor and it is not  getting  better, you should go back for a reevaluation.   You may need to change the antibiotic or have a more definitive treatment.

Ginigivostomatitis: The red line indicates gingivitis.Stomatitis means inflammation of the mouth-especially inside of the mouth. tartar is acalcium salt ,some times getting deposited beneath the gum line which can make this inflammation persisting if unremoved. In  addn. to the salt water mouth rinse/ antiseptic rinse, you may need a dental xray to r/o tartar beneath the gum line,a good exam and scaling of teeth.

Tender Gums: Is common after root canal procedure because of instrumentation and due to the fact that the tooth still needs time to heal based on the current condition before the treatment was started. The clamp to secure and hold the rubber dam to protect the patient from swallowing small instruments was placed by the neck of the tooth and can sometimes irritate the gums, e.G, no enough tooth structure left.

Getting Wisdom tooth: May be you still have 3rd Molar tooth hidden underneath the Gum and is now making its way out. 
 If you already have wisdom tooth ou then keep monitoring this swollen Gum area, if becomes painful,red then needs Dentist's visit. I doubt you will have any problem as your exam last month was normal.

Gum pain: Firstly one has to rule out tooth issues, gum disease, jaw issues. Once all this is ruled out then one has to assume that she has a type of trigeminal neuralgia

Unfortunately: Barbells can chip or fracture front teeth.  Gums can be damaged by the rubbing of barbells requiring periodontal surgery. If the barbell becomes unscrewed it could be aspirated into the lungs. Infections can be quite severe  & eventually lead to disfigurement. This is likely not normal -please have your dentist evaluate your gum.
