Neither: You mention high blood pressure and this is more likely to have to do with your face turning red. Or you may never find the reason. Trusting you're not drinking heavily and that you're staying fit, and that your physical exam and other labs do not show any other problems.

It doesn't matter: A test of antithyroid antibodies may suggest that thyroiditis caused your decline in thyroid level, but it doesn't matter since the appropriate therapy is brand name T4 replacement, no matter what the cause.  Also, your minimal level of thyroid deficiency is insufficient to cause you lipid abnormalities.  Look for other causes, such as genetics, weight, diet, inactivity, etc.

: Epilepsy coming on in an older adult is often due to organic brain damage such as a stroke or a brain tumor. A neurologist is best to evaluate, test appropriately and properly treat your mother. I assume she has been tested for copper&amp; zinc toxicity. The recommended dose for copper is up to 3 mgs daily and for zinc, no more than30 mgs daily.

Risks of Red Bull: The amount of caffeine in one 250ml red bull (8 ounces), is only about 80mg.  That is about one cup of coffee.  6 or more red bulls per day gives you a lot of caffeine, but many people drink this much coffee or more without health problems.  Many studies have been done that do not show serious health risks from caffeine consumption.  Nervousness, anxiousness are possible.

Red bull vertigo: You are probably dehydrated and that is why you are getting dizzy. Red bull has caffeine which can also cause you to get dizzy. Be careful with drinking a lot of red bull. My advice is to avoid it.   Good luck.

Yes: Lose weight
cut out bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and sweets including alcohol.
Exercise
omega 3's from either fish oil or flax seed
be checked for diabetes
have your thyroid checked
if still >500 you may have a familial process that may still require drug therapy.

High readings: High readings may be seen if not properly fasting for the test. Some medications or alcohol may lead to higher readings.
