Change your pill: Hopefully you are on a birth control pill. If so, we are in business. Every pill has a ratio of estrogen to progesterone. It can be 70:30 or it can be 20:80. The trick is to figure out what your body runs on the best. In your case, you need a pill with more estrogen to lend more support to the building lining - it is shedding too soon. Talk to your fp about a higher-estrogen mix in your pill.

Chance of pregnancy?: A young and healthy woman can have an irregular period, spotting, or other menstrual symptoms once in a while. If the symptoms are brief, and she returns to normal quickly, and then has normal periods after that, it's not too worrisome. An ob-gyn doctor should evaluate if prolonged, recurrent, or worrisome symptoms. A urine pregnancy test can be done can be done now since a period has been missed.

Possibly: Pregnancy is always a possibility.  Purchase and perform a home pregnancy test.  They become positive about the same time that you're a week late.  If it's negative, repeatit in one week and call your doctor.

Sexually active?: If you are sexually active, and had unprotected sex last month, you may have been pregnant and had a miscarriage.  The tingling in the arms, headache, etc is a little odd though.  Are you on birth control?  Do you smoke?
This may also be a sign of a blood clot.  Unusual in your age group, but if you are on birth control and smoke, you are at risk.  You should see your doctor.  Good luck!

Possible infection: Go see your md or the facility where the blood drawn.  Because of possibility that an infection  
is in communication with the vein, it should be evaluated and treated.

Could be: Certainly could be MRSA infection. Use warm compress to treat and bring him to doctor to have it looked at. May need to be drained in order to treat.

Get 9it checked: possible infection or inflammation at the site of the venipuncture OR reaction to any adhesive bandage applied.
