i had shoulder surgery done a little over a month ago, this was to scrape bone spurs and clean out the bursa. how long until i fully recover?

6-8 weeks: Structurally, there is only mild weakening of the deltoid insertion where the bone is removed. Rotator cuff, if not repaired should be ready to rehab right away.
I encourage my patients to start range of motion exercises as soon as the pain subsides (couple of days). I let them do whatever they are comfortable with after a couple of weeks. It generally takes 6-8 weeks for all the tenderness to end.

Depends: it is hard to say exactly because I am unsure why you are having the procedure exactly.  there is literature to support arthroscopic debridement for shoulder arthrits and the results happened to be fairly promising with relatively quick recovery. however if you need a rotator cuff repair, for example,  that may require prolonged recovery and immobilization

Knots can squeak: It is not uncommon to get some squeaking from the knots that are used to secure the repaired tissue back in place via the 6 anchors you described. This is often transient, but if it persists, the knots can be removed at a later time.

Bone Spur: Recovery is based on the amount of work needed to repair your bone spur. Full recovery following surgery can take anywhere from one to six months.  Most patients resume activities within several weeks.

It differs...: Depending on the person and what procedure is done for your correction.  The good thing is that most doctors want you to get up and moving the joint right away after surgery.  There really should be little interruption in your normal activities.  Of course, this is all done within reason - ask your podiatrist for details.

Depends on the surg: There are a very large number of different shoulder surgeries so recovery time absolutely cannot be determined as a single time for all shoulder surgery. For many ligament and tendon repairs around the shoulder, most patients are able to return to their work and recreational activities by 6 months. Your surgeon can best tell you the expected recovery time for any procedures that  they recommend.
