It differs...: Depending on the person and what procedure is done for your correction. The good thing is that most doctors want you to get up and moving the joint right away after surgery. There really should be little interruption in your normal activities. Of course, this is all done within reason - ask your podiatrist for details.

1-3 months: Depends on the type of procedure performed. Simple spur removal with no attempt to increase motion can take as little as a month."cheilectomy" where up to a third of the metatarsal head is taken to improve motion takes upto 3 months and requires aggressive range of motion exercises. Fusion of the joint can take 6-12 weeks.

It depends...: Usually 4-6 weeks but it depends on the type of procedure performed and on the individual that it was performed on. Each person has a different healing potential depending on age and overall health.

Depends: On what procedure. If simple cheilectomy (shaving of spur) then sutures for 2weeks. A post op shoe is usually dispensed to be worn for 1-2 weeks.
