Cannot say in: a particular case. The one anorexic/bulemic I've seen was overweight (not typical).

You don't get fat: you get healthy! That means you will need to gain some weight and reach the healthy weight for your height. This may seem "fat" to you, however, anorexics are too thin and can die from malnutrition. One explanation: One explanation will be that your anorexia cause weakness in your esophagus. Esophagus is composed of muscle. It's composed of striated and smooth muscle. During a malnutrition state, the muscle can be damage specially at the lower esophageal sphincter. Improvement should be expected if anorexia improved. I will consult with a GI doctor to r/o bacterial dz like h.Pylori.

There is hope &amp; help: Anorexia nervosa is complex.  The fact that you are seeking help and treatment means you will likely recover. It is extremely important that you have enought calories and gain weight as malnutrition also affects your psyche. Concommitant with this is a good social and psychological support system to address any underlying issues that may have contributed to your illness. Many have recovered fully.

in recovery from anorexia. i started to have bad pain in my hips when i began running and it's been continuing all the rest of the day. walking hurts?

Hip pain: I suspect that you developed bilateral tendinitis or bursitis of your hips after starting to run after a prolonged absence from exercise. I recommend that you rest your legs and, if you can tolerate them, take anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen or naproxen for a week or so. If no improvement, see your physician for evaluation.

is it possible to die from cardiac heart attack after full recovery from anorexia?  i had anorexia for 6 years and now get sudden jabbing chest pains?

UNLIKELY: Chest pain can be a symptom of heart disease but may be may other things such as esophageal spasms, great vessel disease, respiratory disorders (asthma, COPD, bronchitis, infections), lung diseases, and muscle problems to name a few.  It really depends on the clinical situation and other symptoms you may be having.  sounds like you should see your doctor and sort this out.

hands/ feet falling asleep daily, sitting for short or long periods of time.  + extreme stiffness in my ankles when i'm sitting "criss cross". not sure if this is connected.  in recovery from anorexia about a year, stable, not sure if that matters?

: Those symptoms you have are not normal, especially the hands/feet numbness (falling asleep). 
You should discuss with your doctor.

im 8 months into recovery from anorexia. im on a meal plan. im experiencing sererve belly pains, and constipation. i cant poo but if i do go have a literally force it out and it hurts. i still get really dizzy and headache. also pins and needles?

: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.
