Possible: Eating disorder's are notoriously difficult to treat effectively, but with proper therapy, social support, and medication treatment of depression or anxiety it is possible to recover and have an excellent quality of life.

Takes Grit & Support: For someone w/ anorexia, recovery is both physical (eating a balanced diet 2 get the nutrients the body needs & 2 get hormones back in balance) & psychological (finding new ways of coping w/ intense feelings, body image expectations, etc.) recovery can be very tough though & relapse is common, so having good medical/mental health team is the ideal.
