Normal ferritin for : A 6 year old. If it were due to low iron, the pica should be an ice-eating compulsion. If that is what he has i would expect it to last 6-12 weeks.

Not an issue: The rdw, mch and mchc are only helpful in evaluating patients with anemia. ron would be unexpected to alter these numbers.
