No Ebola: You do not have Ebola. It is not feasible to say if you are anemic. Given your periodic blood loss and lack of iron and B12 in your diet, you may well be anemic. It would be prudent to see your doctor. In the mean time take oral iron supplement and a multivitamin with B12.

Safe: It is very unlikely that you will take excessive amount of garlic without "reeking" of garlic. It would be prudent to ask your friends if they can smell garlic on your breath. Taking more garlic than a sufficient amount to flavor your foods is not likely to provide much health effect.

hello! my mom diagnosed with the case of hepatocellular carcinoma bclc b; cld cp a (5) meld na 14 from chronic hepatitis b, decompensated (bleeding esophageal varices) ; anemia, secondary to blood loss. can she eat raw beetroot??

: Pl do not use so many acronyms as it becomes incomprehensible. But beet root in  moderation should not hurt under any condition. Also you can confirm with the treating MD

Ferritin? hematocrit: 'Slight anemia" is not a valid diagnosis. Exactly what lab values were reported? Do you have heavy menstrual bleeding? Are you a blood donor or have you lost blood in some way? Do you have low serum iron [ferritin]? There are many anemias, of which iron deficiency is only one. Or are you at the low end of normal? Your Dr owes you a better evaluation and discussion. The multivitamin is not relevant

Depends on the cause: Anemia is a low red blood cell (rbc) count; this can also be defined by a low hemoglobin level, which is the protein that carries oxygen in the rbc.  Anemia is either due to decreased production of rbcs (ie dietary) or increased destruction/loss (ie bleeding).  Many of these causes are treatable/curable, but require diagnosis first.
