Fiber: Carrots have a lot of fiber, and this may cause a lot of movement of your bowels and gas production, which can cause abdominal pain.

: There are some basic self testy you can do at home. Hop up &amp; down on both legs, then one at a time. If the pain makes you fall over it could be appendix. If you can't walk fully upright across the room, it could be appendix. The final decision is made when a well trained doc examines you.

Use 10 minutes of breathing meditation and 5 min lying down if not enough time.

Diverticulitis?: Typically pain in the left lower quadrant of the abdomen is suspicious for either ovarian problems or diverticulitis.  Both of these really need to be seen and checked....See your doctor to get a better diagnosis and treatment.
