Congestion: Green phlegm does not always mean an acute bacterial infection, i.e. the type in which you need antibiotics. Often smoldering viral infections end in this way. However, if it persists, recurs after symptoms are almost gone, or you begin developing a fever then definitely have it checked. In the meantime, treat the symptoms.

i have broncitis. when i lay in my back my chest has a horrible rattle & i cough so bad i can't catch my breath. is this a sign of pneumonia ?

Chest rattle: That means your cough is becoming more productive. Mucus clogging up your airways is loosening up and getting thinner making it easier for you to hack it up. Drink more warm liquids to thin it out more. Taking an expectorant will also help.

This leads to increased sputum production, which could account for the "rattling in the chest." if it is due to a bacterial infection, antibiotics are typically prescribed so see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Depends: It depends on why you have a cough.  If this is an indication of infections, tb...Then it can hurt the pregnancy.  If it's due to something simple like postnasal drip, reflux disease, then no it doesn't hurt the baby.

: As long as the kid eats well, plays and remains fever free I would not be concerned. Most of these are self resolving viruses. If feeds are off as are other daily activities I would have him checked.
