Common patters: A lot of infant viral infections will have fever for a few days and end in a generalized rash. Some have names based on location and type of rash, but they are expected and rather benign.I'd consider the crying evidence it is not finished.As long as the kid takes fluids well and plays occasionally you can monitor at home.If not drinking the kid should be seen.

Needs eval: Reddish lump in an infant could be a vascular swelling or abormality sometimes. It can also be bruising due to trauma. If is not not painful (diffult to tell in an infant ) and no fever is present, swelling is usually not an infection. Make sure her pediatrician evaluates her swelling.

Fever: No, your child developed your symptoms through the respiratory infection that you have as seen with your runny nose and headache. Make sure you wash your hands before feeding the baby. Wearing a mask if you have respiratory symptoms might also help

At day 4-5 seen: If the fever is ongoing, provide Tylenol and/or Motrin to control the fever, fluids and rest. Watch for pain, vomiting, rash, cough and other symptoms. At day 4-5 of fever without symptoms, a visit with your PCP is suggested.

Evaluation: In a young child, with the recent fever especially, i would recommend taking him in to see his doctor...Rashes may just be a reaction to the virus, or it could be something more serious, best to have your baby checked!

See a pediatrician: And do this asap.  Bone pain in a child this age can (although not always) suggest some very severe and rapidly progressive conditions in association with fever.  Do not ignore this.  Go and see somebody now.  Hope he is better soon.
