Before stopping the medicine I suggest you call your doctor and discuss the rash with s/he.  If you are having any shortness of breath or swelling of your throat then stop the medicine and seek care immediately at the ER.

Avyl unsure: The best treatment for hives (urticaria) is antihistamines.  Unsure of "avyl" but most antihistamines work within an hour or two.  There are other medications for hives, but most allergist would suggest that steroids like Prednisone be avoided unless hives are very severe.

Eczema: It may be eczema which is a dry skin condition that could be caused by allergies.  Indoor dry heat could aggravate eczema.  If you are asthmatic then you are more prone to developing eczema.  Treatment includes moisturizers, antihistamines and steroid creams.  Humidifiers can be helpful during the heating season.
