one more question plz! the rash is red flat small and i just noticed if i press on it it disappears and when i remove my finger it comes back! doesnt itch is it a serious medical condition? i am waiting for my insurance meanwhile hope its nothing?

: Rash is typical blanching when you press it and itching is commonly associated with allergic rash. We are more concerned about a rash without itching. You can apply cold pack for itch relief if you do not have any medication. Good luck.

every night my right hand keeps heating especially the skin around fingers and there are also some rash. its only in one hand, and it keeps appearing every night. in the rash area the skin looks dry. im not allergic to nothing as far as i know.

Hand specialist: This could be an atypical symptom of a carpal tunnel syndrome caused by thickened ligament in the wrist which presses on the nerves entering your hand. Apparently, since it occurs nocturnally there is a positional component. A hand surgeon or neurologist is best to consult for testing,diagnosis and treatment options.

Allergic Reaction: Most probably it is an allergic reaction to either any nail products or you did did with your bare hands. Take bennadryl, if does not work go to a physician, may need to get oral steroids.

Need information/pic: It is very hard to diagnoses a rash without a picture or more history as to other symptoms, ie fever, URI, etc. , history of exposures to chemicals, soaps, etc., and progression or duration of the rash. An evaluation is recommended.   A video consult or consult with photos may be an alternative, but is not as good as face to face.

Local contact with something you are allergic to (contact dermatitis) is a common cause. Fungal infections (ringwork or tinea) are another common cause. It's often possible to make a more definitive diagnosis by sharing photos of the rash and talking to the doctor via virtual consult.

Contact dermatitis: When a rash is very localized as your describe it is likely due to a local contact. This could be a chemical product, a soap, plant material, etc. You are doing the basics. It should clear as long as you do not re-expose it to the same material. Time for some detective work.

Swollen fingers: Cause of swollen   knuckles and fingers  and rash can be  gouty arthritis, inflamm arthritides, psoriatic arthritis (  associated with psoraisis) , lyme disease, severe infections ( acute bacterial ones)  or even just a viral syndrome. And others

you need to be seen by your medical provider, document the rash, where its is what it looks like as it may be a clue.

Avoid the contact: Contact dermatitis is caused by the direct contact with the onion.  You can wear latex or nitrile gloves when you peel the onions, so that your skin does not actually touch the onion.  After you are finished, wash your hands with lots of water.
