Eczema: You have to be careful in applying anything over eczematous skin as the skin is already inflamed and adding anything is just adding oil to the fire and making the skin more inflamed. Moisturize your skin constantly see your doctor or a dermatologist for good treatment creams.

what causes fully circular shaped rashes? these disk-shaped rashes are at least 2 inch or larger around. i have 8 of these perfectly circle-shaped rashes on my mid thighs only nowhere near my junk and nowhere near my knees. gets itchier if i'm hot?

Yes: The rash could be physical irritation from the carpet.  It could also be a symptom of eczema or contact dermatitis.  The first thing to do is apply some thick ointment to the rash and cover with long pants.  If it is itchy, you could try some Hydrocortisone cream.  If it is painful or oozing, this might require medical attention.

my baby is 3 months old and has reddish rashes on her cheeks, elbows, and knees.  is it just eczema?

Probably, but: I would not blow it off.  Many infants are allergic to a food that is causing the rash.  Getting an allergy evaluation to determine if a food is related to the rash may help to dramatically improve the rash once the food culprit is eliminated from the diet.

i get red itchy rashes randomly on the inside of my elbows or knees about once a month. it usually goes away in about 10 mins. should i worry? does this indicate a larger problem? i do not have any known allergies
