Increase side effect: When Azilect (rasagiline) is used with carbidopa/levodopa the potential side effects of Levodopa are increased, thus one of the doses of Azilect (rasagiline) or carbidopa/levodopa are decreased from the dose that would be used with either drug alone.

Not clear: Azilect (rasagiline) and DBS has not been researched, and I would suspect it to be of limited value in most pts, as it is said to be potentially neuroprotective, and likely will work far better early in the course of Parkinson's disease.

MAO-B inhibitors: Both selegiline (eldepryl) and Rasagiline (azilect) are mao-b inhibitors, with a couple important differences. Azilect (rasagiline) is much more specific for mao-b, meaning no risk of serotonergic crisis when used alongside ssri antidepressants (celexa, lexapro, etc). Azilect (rasagiline) is also the only neuroprotective drug for parkinson's. Take care!

Yes: Medication azilect(rasagiline) is used for treatment of tremor such ascparkinson syndrome, .It increasing  Dopamine chemical in the brain. Velvet beans used for medicinal purposes  in africa, india, caribben  to improve Dopamine levels in brain to treat parkinson's disease. So, both above chemicalsc accomplish similar effect  and can interact. Prescription firm has control over exact amount.

: The time interval between Sinemet doses is incredibly short, and may present an administrative burden.  Separating out the rasagaline would make it even more difficult.  There is NO rationale to not take both together at same time.  Please contact your doctor and clarify all of this.

In theory, it should: Theoretically, Azilect (rasagiline) (an MAO-B  inhibitor) should help with many of the symptoms of Parkinson's for a certain period of time. Serotonin syndrome: Rasagiline can have potentially serious drug interactions with sertraline from excess serotonin in the brain. Please review with prescribing doctor without delay.

Doubtful: Your meds would more likely result in low blood pressure or even postural hypotension.

: There is no absolute contraindication but it's better to discuss with your cardiologist.
However, Viagra's effect may be limited because of your age and significant comorbidity.
