Similar: all are hyaluronic acid products. All last aproximately the same time about 8- 12 months. Reports claim Restylane (dermal fillers) lasts the shortest 6-8  months and Radiesse as long as 12 - 16 months but I have not seen such a big discrepancy in my practice. Costs aprox. 500 - 700 dollars for injection of a 1 cc syringe. Side effects are the same in these three products.

None known: Currently, there is no objective evidence to suggest the addition of supplements may help prolong the benefits of fillers.  A healthy diet and exercise program can help maintain youthful collagen in the skin and tissues and will likely offer the best longevity for fillers.  Avoidance of overexposure to the sun, tobacco use and alchohol can also help.

is it safe to have hyaluronic acid fillers  such as restylane/juvederm while on remicade?

: It is not absolutely contraindicated regarding the drug interaction.
However, I would advise you to discuss with rheumatologist who prescribes Remicade.

Accepted Answer

Possibly: Aquamid. Not all these fillers are indicated for every area of the body. Some of them aren't FDA approved and I hope they never are - they're right out dangerous.

Not mandatory: Aspirin could increase some bruising- otherwise not contraindiciations.

Yes: I don't know what you plan on injecting but you can use juvederm anywhere you would use Radiesse (dermal fillers)

Just stay away from: retinoids topically three days prior. restart oral vitamin C after 48 hours

Juvederm: You should get a number of different answers as this depends heavily on physician preference. I don't like either one for the nose, but if i had to choose, it will be juvederm. The better question is where in the nose, the bony part or the softer tip part? I would not use either one in the tip area.

Absolutely: You are injecting hyaluronic acid with additives into the skin which can cause both an allergic dermatitis as well as an irritant dermatitis.

: According to their website, it comes with and without lidocaine.
